Called Helene Gershoutz(sp) (Family Focus) Jack and Helene. Met with Donna last Thursday. Donna came back from visit. Donna called Helene Monday after visit. Helene thinks Jessica says what every other child feels. Helene thinks Jessica was talking to see what Donna’s commitment to Jessica [?]. By Thursday when Helene and Jack met with Donna. In essence Helene said “if you are committed to a kid, you are committed forever. Your commitment must depend on you and not the kid.” Donna had done some reading on Oppositional Disorder. Donna left meeting that she wasn’t really sure she wanted to call it quite. Donna called Helene the next day, said “I don’t want Jack to promise Jessica anything.” Donna said, “I want to think about it. Jack may see Jessica the end of next week, Jack wants to hear what Jessica has to say. Jack is going to say to Jessica – Donna was shaken up about whole thing. Donna needs time to think. Nothing can be done until Donna comes back from Wisconsin and gives us what she wants to do.
